Casa Tecnológica


La casa tecnológica tiene como función general el facilitar la vida diaria de los habitantes.

Dentro de la arquitectura el facilitar la vida de las personas es algo en lo que se busca mejorar e innovar ya que es lo que la gente busca conforme pasa el tiempo.

Junto con la tecnología se pueden crear estructuras inteligentes y tecnológicas que faciliten todo el manejo de una habitación hasta el de una casa.

La arquitectura siempre ha buscado maneras de innovar utilizando los avances tecnológicos que se van presentando cada día por lo que este tema de una casa tecnológica se encuentra directamente relacionado con la arquitectura moderna.

Arquitectura del Siglo XX


Este artículo trata sobre la arquitectura del sigloo XX que define como una arquitectura dominada por el funcionalismo la cual no trata sobre un movimiento artístico, sino de un movimiento racionalista. Se define con la frase de Louis Sullivan: "La forma siempre sigue a la función."

La forma se se basa en los volúmenes fundamentales que son el cubo, el cilindro, el cono y la esfera, de la forma logística por encima de la evasión ornamental.

La escuela de Bauhaus desarrollo el funcionalismo vinculándolo a una estética al mismo tiempo. Se puede decir que debemos la arquitectura y el diseño del siglo XX a los diseños por parte de Bauhaus.

AC/DC

Electric Charge: A form of charge, positive, negative or zero that make up all known matter.
Electric Circuit: electric device that provides a path for electrical current to flow.
Voltage: representation of the electric potential energy per unit charge.
Power: the energy or motive force by which a physical machine is operated.
Types of voltage Sources:
*DC: voltage source that has a constant voltage across its terminal. EX:batteries
*AC: voltage source that has voltage across its output the shape of sine wave with constant amplitudes. EX: AC generator.
Protoboard: is a construction base for an electronic circuit, a prototype.
Ohm's Law: states that the current through a conductor between two points is directly proportional to the potential difference or voltage across the two points and inversely proportional to the resistance between them, provided that the temperature remains constant.

I decided to study this career because it includes all the subjects that I like, it also includes the need of creativity and the ability to draw, which are both part of what I got.
Arquitecture is a complex career but I like it because of that, by being complex it teach us a lot of new concepts that prepare us in a better way and make this career a complete one.

Chair design

Pre-Production Design

· Presentation: The design I decided to accomplish is with furniture, most specific with a chair.

We all know that chairs are rarely comfortable for people, everyone have different manners of feeling comfort, so each chair would have to be comfortable for each of us and that is difficult cause we all are different. The answer for this dilemma comes along with this chair, a chair not made in a position that adjusts to the human back; it comes with no position but the position that you want it to have.

· Design: This chair is made up of two materials: rubber and plastic. Why rubber? The rubber is a manageable material which can adjust the way you want but it also is strong and resistant. The idea of this material is that it would cover the part of the chair were the back goes, so you can adjust it the way you like it.

The plastic would cover the part of the chair in where you sit, so the chair would be completely resistant and soft.

· Analysis: The goal of this project would be reaching the comfort of the people that prove this design and this design would be used by everybody because it can be managed by the people the way they want.

· Research: In the market there are a lot of chairs made up for human health, for solving back problems (http://www.healthyback.com/). A few examples are the ¨Tempur Pedic¨, ¨Herman Miller¨, ¨Human Touch¨ and more. The difference from this chair and the previously presented is that none of these chairs can adjust the way people want, they are sold in a way already established and all of them are made in a certain model.

· Specification: The requirements for this design to work out are principally the medical ones. Designs made for the human health and comfort must be proved by medical associations that approve this kind of products and that eliminate the ones that don’t have benefits for the people’s health and approve that ones that are good for people and that really work and accomplish what they propose.

· Problem Solving: The problem here is the back problems, most of the people of all ages suffer these problems and not all of the chair models are healthy or helpful for people suffering this problem, so the answer here is the adjustable chair that can be manageable in any way the people want, until they feel comfortable and good. This chair can be used by children, pregnant women and people of the third age so there is no danger when using this type of product, cause it is made up for you to make it the way you wish.
